Established in 1974, we are the oldest, largest and most progressive mobile grooming operation in the Southeast.
Our team consists of experienced and gentle stylists. Stylists groom to the AKC breed profile, but are equally talented in creating "personality" trims. "Low Maintenance" trims are also available. We groom most purebred dogs, cats, and mixed breeds. Stylists are required to attend continuing education functions to keep current with new techniques and stay abreast of changing styles. All products are pet friendly and no harsh chemicals are used.

Depending on dog's temperament, size, and complexity of the groom, the process will take approximately 1 - 1-1/2 hour(s) per animal. Standard Poodles and other large breeds can take 2 hours or more. All grooming will be done in the mobile grooming van. Each van is outfitted with an elevated tub, electric/hydraulic table, dryers, and water tank. All shots must be up to date. We do not tranquilize animals.
We do not groom severely matted cats or aggressive animals.
Your stylist can place your pet on our “Courtesy Call Back List,” which will ensure that you can schedule the next appointment at your convenience, with your stylist of choice. You will receive a phone call one week prior to the frequency you have selected, and you may accept or decline the appointment. Should you want to postpone the appointment, just tell us when to call you back. There is no obligation on your part.....think of it as “1st right of refusal.”
Should you prefer to call us as needed, try to call about one week in advance.
For the first appointment, checks are not accepted. Clients must pay with a master card, visa, or cash. Afterwards, checks are allowed. We never accept Discover or American Express.
Tips are optional. Due to accounting reasons, do not include tips in checks or charges. Please issue cash tips or write a separate check for the groomer.
Matted dogs should be clipped down and placed on a maintenance/preventive grooming schedule. De-matting is inhumane to the animal, expensive to the client, and dangerous to the stylist. Brush-out time is charged by the hour, and should be discussed with the stylist.
Stylists will routinely clean ears and pluck hair from the ear canal of all dogs who don’t have questionable ear infections. Your veterinarian will want to see the problem “intact.” Stylists will not clean ears if the dog appears to be “over” stressed by the procedure or overly aggressive.
Stylists will routinely trim nails on all dogs who are not overly aggressive.
Whether or not to express the anal sacs as a standard part of the grooming procedure is a matter of debate among many professional stylists. We feel that if and when necessary, this is best left to the veterinarian.....it is an invasive procedure. The treatment is only necessary when the anal sacs are clogged or impacted, and there should be no reason to do it otherwise. If the anal sacs are incorrectly expressed, it can result in an infection of the anal glands.
Every precaution is taken to see to it that your pet is handled in a kind, loving, and humane manner. Clients should realize, however, that we are not working with inanimate objects. They sometimes move unexpectedly. Any injury is handled as follows: (1) immediate 1st aid treatment by the stylist, and (2) notification to the pet owner. There is no reason for any stylist to ever try to hide an injury......accidents do happen.
